I hope you are all having a great day! Lately I have been thinking a lot the future. For instance, when I'm old and near the end of my life, what would I want my great-great grand children to know about me that they can take with them on their journey in becoming an adult.
I spent so much of my life worrying about what people thought about me. As I grew up, I realized that time goes by so fast, you have to be trying to make the most of it, not worrying about how somebody views you. The best times I have had in my life, have been when I have been acting completely insane and making great memories with my friends. The phrase I like to carry with me is, "Everything is temporary." This is true, that girl who said your shirt looked ugly, won't matter by next week. If you keep this idea in your head, and remember the only things that can last forever are memories, if you choose to keep them.
Secondly, I would say the next thing I would like people all of you to know, is that throughout my time in school, I would always want to try so hard, to the point that just looking up and experiencing all of the great opportunities waiting ahead of me. So I would just say for you to try, but to remember that in the long run, that B- on your Math Quiz won't define you as a person, and that you should try to participate as much as you can. I always loved music and playing the piano, and I only started really competing in competitions and recitals since I was nervous. Now, when I look back, It was one of my favorite things I did as a teen.
So, the main thing I want my great-great grandchildren to take from this, is to just enjoy the years you are young, and try as many new things as you can, you might find something that you love!
I hope you guys learned something from this, and today, try something new, take a risk, do something different!
